Owen Voigt, MACoHCT Plan Administrator

Owen Voigt was instrumental in establishing the MACo Health Care Trust, which created a cost-effective health benefit solution for employees of Montana counties and county-related districts. Prior to that, he was a member of the MSSF marketing department for the Montana Unified School Trust.

Owen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as associates’ degrees in claims and risk management. With over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, he brings extensive customer service experience and knowledge to his work as a marketing and field services representative.

Owen and his wife, Becky, live near Helena and have three children. Owen enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities, and also was active in rodeo until retiring from the sport in 2005. Now he ‘rides the roads’ as the lead MACoHCT representative, traveling statewide to provide service to new and existing member groups.                

Alyce joined the MACoHCT staff in January 2007 and is involved in nearly all aspects of MACoHCT administration. She brings strong customer service and administrative skills to the position from previous roles with Wells Fargo Bank, Wells Fargo Mortgage, and the Montana School Boards Association. She is also finishing a degree in Business at the UM-Helena campus.

A native of Chicago, Alyce relocated to Montana in 2000 and lives in Helena with her husband, Brandon. She enjoys spending time with family and pursuing outdoor activities such as snowboarding, mountain biking, and rock climbing.

Laurie joined the MACo HCT in November 2007 after working for MACo Claims as a Claims Assistant since September of 2006.  She is very enthusiastic and enjoys many aspects of working at MACo HCT which include providing excellent customer service, working in all areas of office management, as the enrollment/eligibility assistant, marketing assistant and taking on various special assignments.  She looks forward to future learning opportunities and training in the Health Care Administration Field.

Laurie was born and raised in upstate New York (Schenectady), moved to California a year out of high school, where she met and married her husband Jim.  Laurie, Jim and their daughters Brittany and Sierra moved to Montana in June of 2005 and reside in Helena.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great Montana outdoors.

Pam Walling, Marketing & Member Services Representative

Pam Walling is the newest MACo staff member providing services to the Health Care Trust.  She came to MACo in March of 2008 as a Marketing & Member Services Representative servicing central and eastern Montana counties.  Pam maintains a MACo office in Lewistown where she resides with her husband. 

She is a Fergus County native with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  Prior to joining MACo, she was an independent insurance representative and a recruiting and advertising coordinator for a national sporting goods distributor.  Pam brings 20 years of high-level customer relationship building and marketing experience to the organization.
